The Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas, commissioned a memorial piece to honor the seventeen fallen American astronauts from missions Apollo I, and Space Shuttles Challenger and Columbia. Their names are sandblasted on the panel's boarder, along with the names of the artists who helped create this beautiful work of art. Now housed in the Hall of Space Museum, this awesome 8 x 11-foot panel went on permanent display March 2nd, 2006. It took 18 months to complete, utilizing the talents of 19 artists and over 4,000 work hours, most of which was volunteered time. Read the February, 2006, article located in the News Release Archives on the Cosmosphere's web site for further information on the piece and how you can see the panel.

We all keep Randy's wife Pam in our thoughts as she deals with ALS. To better understand what Pam is experiencing, visit the ALS Association web site.

Dale Lott offers Stained Glass Guild of Kansas members low prices. Most items must be ordered. Over the years, Dale has very graciously given the Guild demonstrations at his shop. He is now concentrating his business more on restoration work and has gained a well-deserved reputation for his skill in this area. He is a master at painting on glass, in the tradition of century-old workmanship.

On October 24, 2004, Dale was featured by Larry Hatteberg on KAKE's Hatteberg's People. The interview centered around the restoration work Dale was doing in Victoria, Kansas, on the stained glass windows of the St. Fidelis Church, also known as the Cathederal of the Plains.

On October 4, 2004, the Wichita Eagle Local and State cover article "Many Splendored Repair", written by Bud Norman, featured Dale's restoration work on the St. Fidelis Church stained glass windows. This article is available in the Wichita Eagle archives.
